To use the new Cartridge Case Identification, Virtual Comparison Microscope, you must register and obtain a username and password.

Why a Resource Area?

The goal of firearmsID.com is to provide you with the best information and training exercises possible and while we work voluntarily on the subject we take things serious and we want our visitors to do the same.

Registration information and member lists will always be private and not shared with anyone outside this website.  Registration information is only used to record the answers for the tests and to make newer and better tests for our visitors.  Instructors and training officers will be able to receive student scores as well.

In the past year the Virtual Comparison Microscope has been used by several thousand individuals.  That was a good introduction to comparative analysis but we have now gone to the next level to provide an even greater challenge.

Your registration also will provide us with the opportunity to communicate to you via a planned newsletter service, if you decide you want to receive it.  The newsletter will be used let you know when we have new information on our site!

While the materials and resources provided on firearmsID.com are free to you they do not come free to us.   We would be extremely happy if you could help support us with a donation to help keep firearmsID.com open.  Donation information can be found on this page!
